Arthur Miles Dunlap 1900-1975

Arthur was my first cousin, twice removed. There are other photos posted of Arthur on my blog. 

Arthur was born 19 November 1900 in Bieber, Lassen County, California.[1] He was the second child of Thomas Jefferson Dunlap and Emma Summers Dunlap. He had an older brother, Thomas Merrill Dunlap and a younger brother Ivan Arnold Dunlap.

According to the 1940 census Arthur’s education had taken him through the first year in college.

Arthur married twice. First about 1932, he married Lydia McDonald. Lydia died in 1937. She is buried in the Hillside Cemetery, Bieber, Lassen County, California. There were no children from this marriage. Second he married Beulah Christine Sorensen Christensen on 19 Nov 1941, in Reno, Washoe County, Nevada. They had only one child, Thomas Jefferson Dunlap born in 1942.

Arthur Miles Dunlap died 10 May 1975, Redding, Shasta County, California.[2] He is buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery, McArthur, Shasta County, California.[3]
