“Be good, sweet maid, and let who will be clever;
Do noble things, not dream them, all day long,
And so make life, death, and that vast Forever
One grand, sweet song.”

Harriet McConnell was listed as a single woman, School

Harriet’s signature follows that of Mary Nickerson.

from her headstone that she was born in 1845 and died in 1890. She is buried in
the Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland, Alameda County, California. Her headstone
is cut the same way Mary Nickerson’s headstone is.
