Newspaper Links of Old

There are thousands of newspapers that have yet to be scanned and made available online. You still need to know where they are and how to access them. Please use this list and let me know if you find other sites that are good repositories for further newspaper research. Your feedback is welcome. [*Note: you will need to copy/paste the links as I've not made them hotlinks. This information is for a handout that has been created for other purposes.*] [Last updated 1 March 2014]

  1. Might I suggest the Portal to Texas History which has nearly 900,000 pages of early Texas newspapers freely available to the public?

    1. Thanks for noting that missing link, Mark. It is on the Texas page, but it was missed in the newspaper page. I've added it. Thanks again.
