He climbed Mount Shasta and had a mountain somewhere named after him. Hazel was my grandmother. She went to Mills College at age 16. She had a younger brother Robert Lorenzen. I'm not sure who Walter is, maybe her uncle? Hazel married Ted Austin Swan and had a son, Theodore, my father. I am his only child and I have four children. -Erika K. Perhaps you missed the point of the white paper towels, or the reflective sun visor both as points of shining more light on a stone? Both of these items are definitely safer to haul the distances I personally travel to do this work. Reflect sunlight sideways across the stone and it is unbelievable how the inscription pops out. If it is too sunny out, use the umbrella to shade the stone.
